In December 2011, Infestos has acquired the former School of Music located at the Boddenkampsingel in Enschede. The local council of Enschede was the previous owner of this national monument. At this moment, the Luzac College is the user of the building and this will remain the situation for the coming years.
Originally, this monument was villa ‘De Wigwam’ (‘The Tepee’) and was built by Karel Muller in the twenties of the last century. It was commissioned by G.J. van Heek jr. The object fits nicely in the portfolio of Infestos; it is an unique national monument, which is currently being used and in need of a new impulse in terms of for example maintenance.
