The Verwater Group (Hoogvliet, the Netherlands) has acquired some parts from the bankruptcy of Imtech Industrial Services B.V. The acquisition includes the activities in the regions North West (Amsterdam), North East (Emmen, Coevorden, Drachten and Delfzijl) and Valve Services (Rotterdam) and secures a total of about 250 jobs. The activities are grouped in Verwater Industrial Services B.V., a division of investment company Infestos (Enschede, the Netherlands).
This acquisition allows Verwater to extend its services in the field of E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation), E&A (Engineering and Automation), mechanical maintenance (Static & Rotating) and the revision of valves. “We aim to provide our services meeting the needs of our client. This acquisition is an important step in our strategy to offer multidisciplinary total solutions and services.”, says Filip De Wilde, CEO of the Verwater Group.

The former Imtech Business Unit Industrial Services offers total technical solutions for the industrial market. They are familiar with production processes and the laws and regulations in many sectors, such as tank terminals, food & feed, chemistry, oil & gas and pharmacy.
